Serco is a British multinational outsourcing compant that operates prisons and immigration detention centres in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. In the UK, Serco manages Yarl's Wood immigration removal centre in Bedfordshire and Brook House and Tinsley House immigration removal centres near Gatwick Airport. The company’s facilities in all three countries have been criticized for inhumane conditions and abuses, including sexual assault.
