Thales
Thales, based in Paris and partially owned (25%) by the French government, is a military and information technology (IT) company that operates in the aerospace, space, military, security, and transportation industries. Together with other companies, Thales was involved in preliminary technical studies and with it the conceptualization of the EUROSUR border surveillance system. Thales now offers a wide range of products for border control, from biometric recording to drones and also supplies satellite images for the EU border agency Frontex.
